Memories Residential Services is a nonprofit company that offers high-quality services to assist people with mental health and disability problems to enjoy a full life as they can.

Through our initiatives, we provide our participants more flexibility, respect, and choice in their local communities.

Our Principles

The foundation of Memories Residential Services is the understanding that every person is a self-determining individual with dignity, legal rights, and the capacity to realize his or her potential.

Every person should, in the opinion of Memories, be able to:

: Live in a community of his or her choosing and contribute to it,
: Discover the community’s network and its natural supports.

What is possible has been the exclusive focus of memories.

We put a lot of time and attention into coming up with creative solutions to help the people we serve in the neighborhoods where they live and work.

Memories endorses the idea that with the right supports & programming, people can change for the better and overcome their mental illness.

Memories adheres to the idea that a person with an intellectual disability deserves the chance to live, work, and play in a community of their choosing and in a manner that represents their own vision for life.

Memory Services for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities:

• are specially created to fit each person’s distinct strengths and regions in need of support.

• take into account each person’s unique physical, social, emotional, occupational, and cognitive needs.

• are a collaboration between the person, his or her family, and the other players on their squad.

• work to improve the abilities that promote more inclusion and autonomy.
